  Licensing and Standards
All letters are customized by state to comply with various licensing and consumer protection requirements.

Our telephone system ensures that all outbound calls can only be made between the hours of 8:00am and 9:00pm local time.

In-house Auditors monitor collectors to ensure compliance.

CI uses State Law Pop Up Screens that advise the collector if the State the consumer resides in has more restrictive laws than the FDCPA prior to viewing the account.

Compliance Memos - Collection Associates receive weekly compliance memo’s stressing the importance of specific laws as well as compliance updates, which point out changes in the industry.

Personnel
All collection personnel are tested on Federal, State and Local laws utilizing the American Collectors Associations computerized testing software.

Personnel can not perform collections unless they receive a score of ninety percent (90%) or higher on FDCPA test.

FDCPA re-testing done on a yearly basis.

Collection personnel are required to sign a statement of compliance with all Federal, State and Local requirements, including: the FDCPA, the Privacy Act of 1974 and the Fair Credit Reporting Act..

Weekly Compliance Council - Made up of Executive Management and held to review regulatory, consumer and monitoring complaints. Progressive discipline and re-training are the two main tools utilized in correcting employee behavior.
